A dance / movement class

All bodies, all ages & ALL abilities welcome (even if that means you are moving in a chair)

no experience necessary

all classes 10:15am-12:15pm

The invitation is to deepen an embodied experience towards joy, choice, presence, community and ease.

Each class will draw inspiration from many healing + movement lineages and also music genres.  You're welcome to join us for any or all classes.  The first hour will consist of warming up, brief introductions, teaching about the theme and invitational movement exercises.

The second hour will be a 30-45 minute free dance which will follow a creative arc of music, slow to fast to slow.  We will end with a brief circle share.

All classes are offered free of charge, donations are welcome.  

Class is at New Brackett Church, 9 Church Ave, Peaks Island

If you are coming over from Portland, go to Casco Bay Lines (https://www.cascobaylines.com/schedules/peaks-island-schedule/) at 56 Commercial St and take the 930am ferry over to Peaks. There is always a taxi that will take you to the church for $3 each way.
