Truthful, joyful, loving, funny, alive.
What identities do you use to help others understand who you are?
I am a yogi, vegan, friend to all sentient life, spiritual seeker, feminist, humanist, friend, mother.
What are two things that are important to you?
Truthfulness, compassion.
What's one thing you love about your body?
I love that it is a strong body. I feel strong inside and it reflects it on the outside.
What are some of the challenges of living in your body (if any)?
Not being able to reach everything!;) Needing a stool to reach up high, and clothes shopping for someone who is 4'11" is not a simple task. I would not always say it is challenging, sometimes just an inconvenience.
What does radical self-care mean to you?
It means really listening to what your body is saying to you, and providing for it. Denying what might feel, or taste good-knowing that the result is does not support what is best for your body, mind, and spirit.
What specific practices do you use to support you living in your body in a balanced and powerful way?
Yoga, asana, plant based eating routine, meditation, very minimal alcohol consumption, practicing spirituality, a balanced work schedule.
If the world could do one thing to support your embodied liberation, what would it be?
It would be to stop with the body shaming of everyone.
